Adil Usman, MD
Dr. Adil Usman is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has privileges at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Dr. Usman graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City. After doing an internship in Internal Medicine at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, he completed his dermatology residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where he served his last year as Chief Resident.

Dr. Usman has published several papers in dermatology journals. His excellent clinical and surgical skills as well as bedside manners have made him the dermatologist of choice for thousands of patients and several referring primary care physicians.

Dr. Usman was voted Northern Virginia Magazine Top Doctors of 2011 and 2012. When he is not practicing dermatology, Dr. Usman enjoys spending time with his family and riding his bike.

Amor Khachemoune, MD
Dr. Amor Khachemoune is a Board Certified Dermatologist, Dermatopathologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society of Lasers in Medicine & Surgery.

Dr. Khachemoune attended Medical school at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and had subsequent general and cosmetic dermatology training in France.

After moving to the U.S., Dr. Khachemoune did his dermatology residency training at Georgetown University, where he also served as Chief Resident in his last year. His subspecialty fellowship training included wound healing at Boston University, laser surgery at Harvard, Dermatopathology and Mohs micrographic surgery at the State University of New York.

Dr. Khachemoune has published 10 book chapters and over 230 articles in peer reviewed medical journals. He is on the editorial board of 15 medical journals. He is fluent in Arabic and French.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Khachemoune loves to teach medical students and residents and research rare and interesting dermatology cases. He is married with two children.


Dr. Elisabeth LejmanElisabeth Lejman, MD
Dr. Elisabeth Lejman is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Washington D.C. Dermatological Society.

Dr. Lejman completed her medical degree at Jagiellonian University School of Medicine in Krakow Poland. She then completed her training at the following institutions: Post-Doctoral Fellowship-Simon Greenberg Foundation, Philadelphia, PA with a NIH Grant on Cutaneous Aging. Internship in Internal Medicine-Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, NY. Dermatology Residency-Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

She joined our practice in January 2015, after working for Kaiser Permanente in Springfield, VA for 20+ years.

Dr. Lejman was voted Top Doctor in Northern Virginia Magazine, several years in a row, and when she is not practicing dermatology, Dr. Lejman enjoys working in her garden, skiing, biking and traveling around the world. Dr. Lejman comes from a multicultural background and is fluent in English, Polish and knows basic French & Russian.


Maggie MarkieMaggie Markie, FNP
Maggie Markie is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, a member of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses’ Association.

Maggie received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Duke University in Durham, NC. Prior to obtaining her masters, she practiced as a board certified medical/surgical registered nurse for 7 years. Her scope of practice included acute and intermediate care settings on medical, surgical and oncologic units at UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University healthcare systems. She was a medical assistant for 5 years in dermatology prior to receiving her Diploma of Nursing from Watts School of Nursing in Durham, and holds a BA from UNC-Greensboro for her undergraduate curriculum. In her free time, Maggie enjoys hiking with her dog, traveling and volunteering in the community.
